Not hardcore intermittent fasting — just give your body a break from constant food to reset hunger signals.

2. You Use Sugar to Cope With Emotions
Emotional eating is one of the biggest barriers to female fat loss — and most women don’t even realize they’re doing it.
Take Janet. Every time she felt stressed, sad, or overwhelmed, her brain told her: Sugar will make you feel better.
It did… temporarily. But the guilt, weight gain, and self-loathing always followed.

3. Your Beliefs About Sugar Are Keeping You Stuck
If you tell yourself…
“I have a sweet tooth.”
“I’m addicted to sugar.”
“I can’t just have one.”
…then you’re reinforcing an identity that makes sugar cravings inevitable.
This is known as confirmation bias. Your brain will look for evidence to prove you right. Every time you feel out of control, it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.
✅ Fix It: Identity & Belief Shift
- Track your thoughts.
For the next 7 days, notice every story you tell yourself about sugar. Write them down. - Challenge them.
Ask: “Is this fact, or just a belief I’ve repeated for years?” - Create a new identity.
Start saying: “I’m learning to be someone who eats sugar in moderation.”
Or: “I’m building trust with food.”
