I'm getting older and there is an expectation that with age comes decline and deterioration...unexpectedly that is proving not to be the case for the moment. It took a little while for Max to convince me that intermittent fasting was the way to go, but when I embraced it absolutely worked. Jumping into this way of life has completely jacked up my energy levels, dropped my weight to a place where I don't want to lose anymore and has been the single most powerful intervention I have ever experienced in terms of enhancing my well-being. I feel better than I have in 25 years, I'm doing more activity - not because I feel I need to but because I have energy to burn and need to expend it - and it's all so straightforward and easy, requiring no sacrifice or hunger and fitting easily into a natural way of living. I started the 2 meal a day plan, following your book at the start of September. So far lost almost 2 stone (24lb’s so far). Should be at my target of 8;13 around Christmas.
Easiest diet I’ve come across! I’ve made some permanent life changes (eg. no breakfast, black coffee) that I can always stick with. Combined with sensible and varied exercise, I feel healthy and stronger than I did in my 20’s. (Now aged 47).
I’ve been following T2MD for over 2 months now and I have to say it’s the best thing I’ve done regarding diets and exercise! I train 5 x per week, usually gym or CrossFit based and cardio. I’ve always been really tall lanky and hated it I’ve been endlessly following gym programmes and diet regimes that never worked until now! This has been achieved just by eating two large nutritious meals per day and also with out any supplements such as protein or creatine. So anyone that is finding it hard, trust me it’s gets a lot easier and the results are worth it!
I have completed both 1 and 2 phases now and have found a massive change not just in my weight, but also in my shape, strength and the little things like skin complexion and healthy nails!
I also find it less stressful to think about food now as using 2 Meal Day helps you plan your meals, so it is easy to follow after a long day at work and when time is not your friend! It also helps to know that if you go off track for the odd day, isn't a crisis.
I do weights training classes, and have noticed an improvement as now I don't need the protein powders, I get my protein from eating lots of eggs and fish!
I will keep following the plans, I have and the book now that I have completed the phases of the plan, and hope to continue progressing!
