I first began with changing the food I was putting in my mouth and started doing all the 2 Meal Day workouts. Then hit a plateau, but I remembered an Instagram post that Max did about fasting to help break that. I then began to try and stick to The 2 Meal Day method. I really did see great results with my fasted workouts in particular. Now I eat between 1-8 which is so easy for me! I no longer am counting the hours of when to eat, and I have lost a total of 17kg (38lbs) and 18cm (7”) from my waist.
I'm getting older and there is an expectation that with age comes decline and deterioration...unexpectedly that is proving not to be the case for the moment. It took a little while for Max to convince me that intermittent fasting was the way to go, but when I embraced it absolutely worked. Jumping into this way of life has completely jacked up my energy levels, dropped my weight to a place where I don't want to lose anymore and has been the single most powerful intervention I have ever experienced in terms of enhancing my well-being. I feel better than I have in 25 years, I'm doing more activity - not because I feel I need to but because I have energy to burn and need to expend it - and it's all so straightforward and easy, requiring no sacrifice or hunger and fitting easily into a natural way of living. I started the 2 meal a day plan, following your book at the start of September. So far lost almost 2 stone (24lb’s so far). Should be at my target of 8;13 around Christmas.
Easiest diet I’ve come across! I’ve made some permanent life changes (eg. no breakfast, black coffee) that I can always stick with. Combined with sensible and varied exercise, I feel healthy and stronger than I did in my 20’s. (Now aged 47).
I’ve been following T2MD for over 2 months now and I have to say it’s the best thing I’ve done regarding diets and exercise! I train 5 x per week, usually gym or CrossFit based and cardio. I’ve always been really tall lanky and hated it I’ve been endlessly following gym programmes and diet regimes that never worked until now! This has been achieved just by eating two large nutritious meals per day and also with out any supplements such as protein or creatine. So anyone that is finding it hard, trust me it’s gets a lot easier and the results are worth it!
I have completed both 1 and 2 phases now and have found a massive change not just in my weight, but also in my shape, strength and the little things like skin complexion and healthy nails!
I also find it less stressful to think about food now as using 2 Meal Day helps you plan your meals, so it is easy to follow after a long day at work and when time is not your friend! It also helps to know that if you go off track for the odd day, isn't a crisis.
I do weights training classes, and have noticed an improvement as now I don't need the protein powders, I get my protein from eating lots of eggs and fish!
I will keep following the plans, I have and the book now that I have completed the phases of the plan, and hope to continue progressing!
Max's two meal day is a game changer! Max has completely transformed the way I train and eat... I have seen and felt great results from following his plans. I would highly recommend :)
2 Meal Day has transformed my life over the last few years. It has completely changed me both physically and mentally for the better! I have lost weight and have an overall improved lifestyle thanks to this plan. I recommend intermittent fasting to anyone wanting to take control of their health and wellbeing.
I started the 2 meal day as I was having energy crashes at my desk between breakfast & lunch, my body felt bloated and I realised I needed to make a change in order to get results. Breakfast was historically my favourite meal of the day and I thought it would be really difficult to give up. In actual fact, it was super easy once I got passed the first week (of my stomach rumbling). Since I started IF my energy levels are constant, I’ve lost weight, and my all round mood is much better. I couldn’t recommend it more.
At first, T2MD was hard because I had to break my routine and it felt strange not waking up and eating something. But after a week or so, my body adapted, and I started to see the benefits. When I get to work, I drink a green tea and a liter or water before 9 am. Now, I am never hungry when I wake up and I can easily go through until 2 pm or 3 pm. I do not get the same energy highs and lows throughout the day. My body shape has also changed significantly due to T2MD. It might be difficult at first but the results come quickly and are impressive.
Regardless of your lifestyle or fitness level, you can and will succeed with this plan.
